The coaching team has decided to start training at the start of June the same time as last year. Great progress in terms of fitness and performance has been made on the playing front for both teams. So we need to have as many as possible attending to ensure that we build on the good work last year and progress onwards and upwards.
This season training will be on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the pitches at Arlebury Park. Commencing Tuesday 2nd June. 18:30pm the changing rooms will be open for a 19:00pm start, please ensure you are warmed up and ready to go. Everybody is welcome to attend. Wednesday 26th August 2015 the Webb Ellis Cup – The Rugby World Cup will be at Arlebury Park as we have an afternoon and evening of FUN RUGBY for EVERYONE. Keep that date free to join Alresford Rugby Club, the community of Alresford, and Rugby enthusiasts from far and wide.
• Continuous FUN RUGBY activities for minis, children, youths, men and women. • Refreshments on hand. • Plan your Rugby World Cup viewing with friends and family. • Selfies with Webb Ellis Cup. • Another ARFC event to recount to your Grandchildren. Just 3 hours of your time required.Basically, all you need to do is stand at a road barrier in Alresford town centre and prevent cars from entering the main street.
There are 3 barriers that need 2-3 people at a time in 3 hour shifts (7-10am, 10am-1pm and 1-4pm). A number of people have already volunteered, which is great, but we still need quite a few more to make up the numbers. Please give up your time – all help will be greatly appreciated. In addition, it is a chance for us as a club to show how we are a useful part of the Alresford community. Please Contact Pete Gibson: 07964 423001 e-mail [email protected] |
